Trabajadoras de Inditex piden a la clientela que no use las cajas de autocobro

En las tiendas de Zara y Lefties del Centro Comercial Marineda de A Coruña, Inditex decidió implantar 14 cajas de autocobro «donde la multinacional utiliza a las clientas para que hagan las funciones de las trabajadoras autocobrándose con el único objetivo de ahorrar dinero en la contratación de personal», denuncia la representación del sindicato nacionalista CIG en la empresa. Carmiña Naveiro recuerda que desde la central ya se solicitó de la dirección de Zara España en distintas ocasiones su retirada y que proceda a la contratación del personal necesario y se frene el deterioro de las condiciones laborales. «Es vergonzoso que una empresa que obtiene miles de millones en beneficios utilice las máquinas para suplantar a las trabajadoras anteponiendo sus intereses económicos a la salud y seguridad del personal».

Por eso, las trabajadoras le piden a la clientela que haga su pago en las cajas de siempre, donde atiende personal y que «piense primero en los puestos de trabajo que se pierden aumentando los millones de beneficios de Inditex a cuenta de nuestra precariedad y de la pérdida de puestos de trabajo en el futuro».

Movilización en Lefties contra la «explotación laboral»

Trabajadoras de la tienda de Lefties del Centro Comercial As Cancelas, en Santiago de Compostela, se movilizaron también este jueves para denunciar la «explotación laboral» que dicen sufrir. Tras concentrarse a las puertas del centro comercial recorrieron los pasillos para finalizar con una concentración a las puertas de la propia tienda entre cánticos de «estamos explotadas, estamos explotadas, en Lefties nos explotan y Amancio no hace nada».

La CIG lleva varios años demandando que Inditex incremente el personal indefinido en las tiendas Lefties. «El que hay actualmente es insuficiente. Tal es así que en los sucesivos estudios psicosociales realizados entre las trabajadoras, los resultados constatan que cada vez la situación es peor. Este exceso de carga de trabajo tanto física cómo psíquica repercute en la salud y en la seguridad de todo el personal», denuncia el sindicato.

Carmiña Naveiro, representante de la CIG en el comité de empresa de Zara España recuerda que a instancias de la central sindical a finales del año pasado se repitieron en las tiendas Lefties de la provincia de A Coruña las encuestas para detectar los riesgos psicosociales en los establecimientos. «El último estudio descubrió que la situación no sólo seguía igual, sino que incluso el riesgo era mucho más elevado», explica. Además, señala que la dirección de la empresa es conocedora de esto dadas las reiteradas denuncias del sindicato: «La dirección de la empresa a pesar de saber en que condiciones desarrolla su trabajo el personal se niega a adoptar las medidas necesarias para eliminar estos riesgos aunque está obligada a hacerlo».
