Ocupan el local insignia de Zara en la Coruña para denunciar la precariedad en la construcción de las tiendas

Jornadas de 12 a 16 horas diarias, se encadenan viajes al extranjero para levantar locales de meses, hay un fraude millonario en las horas extraordinarias, y no se realizan los descansos adecuados, denuncian desde la CIG.

La Federación de Construcción y Madera de la CIG ocupó este miércoles las obras de la tienda insignia de Zara en la Coruña, una acción enmarcada en la campaña contra la explotación laboral en el sector ‘contract’ (construcción y reforma de locales comerciales). Durante la ocupación, informa el sindicato nacionalista, se realizó una asamblea con los trabajadores para explicarles las motivaciones de esta iniciativa. Al tiempo, un grupo de delegados hacía una concentración delante de la tienda en obras.

La campaña quiere denunciar la situación laboral que padece el personal de este sector, en el que se están  realizando jornadas de 12 a 16 horas diarias, se encadenan viajes al extranjero de meses, se da un fraude millonario en las horas extraordinarias, no se realizan los descansos adecuados, etc…

Mario Maceiras, secretario comarcal de la FCM-CIG de la Coruña, recuerda que el pasado mes de agosto la central entregó a José Manuel Queijero (responsable de GOA Invest, SL, la construtora y promotora de Inditex) una plataforma reivindicativa, «que no fue contestada, así como tampoco respondieron a todas las nuevas solicitudes de reunión que le trasladamos».

La CIG-Construcción prevé desarrollar en los siguientes meses una ronda de contactos con las empresas del sector y con otras entidades relacionadas con el mundo del trabajo para la articulación y regulación de las condiciones laborales «del naciente y pujante sector Contract gallego».
