Buenos Aires, como toda gran ciudad, oculta facetas desconocidas e injustas. La explotación laboral en el rubro textil es una de ellas. Una práctica que suena lejana para muchos porteños pero que puede estar a dos casas de diferencia en cualquier barrio. Incluso también puede estar en la ropa que vestimos, ya que es muy posible que alguna de las prendas que utilizamos en este mismo momento, haya sido fabricada bajo esas condiciones.

“Crónicas de Explotación” refleja el caso de varios inmigrantes que en algún momento fueron operarios de talleres clandestinos, con extensas jornadas de trabajo, sin las condiciones mínimas de higiene y seguridad, y expuestos a las irregularidades de la inestabilidad y la falta de pago. A su vez aborda un caso que refleja las consecuencias que pueden ocasionar los talleres irregulares con espacios de trabajo y vivienda; con instalaciones colapsadas, hacinamiento, incendio, muerte y tragedia.

“Crónicas de explotación” indaga en la labor de legisladores de la ciudad que intentan generar nuevas normas para ponerle fin al trabajo semi esclavo. Y aborda posibles caminos alternativos para los textiles con la exitosa experiencia de un espacio común que reúne a una variedad de cooperativas y empresas recuperadas del rubro. Ronal, Alex, Daniel, Juan, la diputada y socióloga Alcira Argumedo, el dirigente y legislador Gabriel Fuks, la abogada Myriam Carsen, el dirigente de la asociación La Alameda Néstor Escudero son solo algunos de los entrevistados de “Crónicas de explotación”. Un recorrido realizado por el periodista Sebastián Di Domenica que pasa por una planta en Barracas, la legislatura, el Congreso, la huellas de la tragedia en Caballito, los tribunales y los diferentes ámbitos que reflejan una problemática aún sin resolver, pero que deja marcas y víctimas.
